Cedar Rapids, Iowa – July 20, 2015 – Involta, LLC, an industry-leading managed IT, cloud computing and data center services company, announced the hire of Brian C. Lantier as Chief Sales Officer. Formerly the sales leader for manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive and chemical industry groups at Computer Science Corporation, Lantier will spearhead Involta’s sales initiatives and strategy.
This hire and other strategic additions come on the heels of Involta’s recent acquisition of the assets of Data Recovery Services, LLC (DRS), a managed-services and IT consulting firm operating in Ohio and Pennsylvania, which effectively doubled the size of the company. Involta assets now include twelve colocation facilities, over 5,500 miles of fiber, and nearly 200 employees.

Lantier has over 21 years of experience as an enterprise sales leader in the global information technology services sector for firms including Hewlett-Packard and Computer Science Corporation. His selling expertise includes technology consulting, data center infrastructure, data analytics, cloud services, and applications management. As a highly decorated officer in the U.S. Navy, he served as a shipboard CIO, in global supply chain logistics roles, and as Supply Officer for the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington, D.C. A frequent speaker at the university level, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of Science degree in International Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
