Involta Announces New Director of Data Center Operations

11/06/2015

Duluth, MN – Involta, LLC, an industry-leading managed IT, cloud computing and data center services company, announces the promotion of Lucas Mistelske as Director of Data Center Operations. Formerly the Duluth data center manager, Mistelske’s new duties will focus on facilities throughout the company’s six-state footprint.

This promotion, and other strategic additions, come on the heels of Involta’s recent acquisition of the assets of Data Recovery Services, LLC (DRS), a managed-services and IT consulting firm operating in Ohio and Pennsylvania, which effectively doubled the size of the company. Involta clients now have access to thirteen colocation facilities and more than 5,500 fiber route miles, supported by nearly 200 employees.

“Lucas’ leadership has been a critical part of our growth,” said Bruce Lehrman, Involta CEO. “His skills, record of achievement and shared vision for Involta made this decision easy.”

Mistelske has over 15 years of IT administration experience as a technical service and data operations manager. Before joining Involta in 2012, Lucas worked for Compudyne, a leading IT solutions provider in the Northland region.

His professional expertise includes network security, disaster recovery, strategic planning and customer service. Mistelske, a native of Frazee, Minnesota, attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and has remained a Duluthian ever since. He is also active in the community and with professional organizations, including the Greater Minnesota AFCOM, Northland Technology Professionals, Silicone Lake Shore, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Mentorship Program and Wisconsin Special Olympics.
