06/03/2015

Cedar Rapids, Iowa: Involta, a national leader in cloud, managed IT and data center services, is proud to announce that Jeff Quint, CFO and founding board member, has been named “Financial Executive of the Year” by Corridor Business Journal in recognition of his exceptional financial leadership. Quint’s accomplishments at Involta include securing over $40 million of bank financing with highly favorable terms and leading the company through a successful $50 million equity round with M/C Partners of Boston in 2014.

“Jeff’s leadership has been a critical part of Involta’s rapid growth over the past seven years,” said Bruce Lehrman, Involta CEO. “Not only in securing funding, but also in creating an engaged, community-minded company culture that forms a strong foundation for continued success. Under Jeff’s direction, for example, Involta has begun offering paid time off for our employees to support qualified charitable organizations.”

“It is an honor to be recognized by the Corridor Business Journal,” said Quint. “It is an honor to work with the exceptionally talented people of Involta’s executive leadership team and the company staff as a whole. There’s a reason the third part of Involta’s brand promise is People Who Deliver.”

Jeff Quint, Chief Financial Officer, has been with Involta since 2007. He is a CPA with 25 years of successful startup/growth stage experience. Prior to joining Involta as a founding board member, Quint worked for a Big 5 accounting firm and gained more than 15 years of successful business management in the information technology industry. He is also the founder and owner of Cedar Ridge Vineyards, Iowa’s first craft distillery, with 31 employees and products distributed from coast to coast. Quint is an active member of numerous community and commerce organizations in the Cedar Rapids area as well as a supporter of the Willis Dady Emergency Shelter.
