Cedar Rapids, IA: Involta, LLC, an industry-leading managed IT, cloud computing and data center services company, announced today the hiring of management team members James D. Buie as Chief Financial Officer and Mike Vignato as Chief Sales Officer.
Buie joins Involta with more than 25 years of executive experience with companies including ViaWest, Comcast and AT&T, where he built a distinctive reputation for scaling businesses and delivering industry-leading results. In his previous roles, Buie was heavily involved with finance, sales and large business acquisitions. A unique mix of finance, operations and sales experience allows Buie to deliver transformative business plans that connect people, processes and technology. Buie is committed to developing finance and technology professionals by leveraging organizations like the Association for Corporate Growth, Financial Executives International and AFCOM.
Vignato has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology field, and most recently developed and executed sales growth strategies for clients as the Executive Vice President of the Antara Group. An executive with an entrepreneurial mind, Vignato has led organizations with innovative thought-leadership, excellent planning and best-practice solutions. Vignato specializes in building profitable companies, IT infrastructure services, technology consulting, revenue growth and cost containment.
