Involta's President's Club 2017 Awarded at the Sales Kick-off

What a year of growth it has been for Involta. In addition to new services, solutions, and partnerships with top tier IT vendors, we opened two new data centers in two new markets. The Northpointe facility is Involta’s multi-tenant data center serving the greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and was built through a partnership with UPMC. Involta also celebrated the Independence Data Center, serving greater Cleveland, Ohio with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony in June. This purpose-built, multi-million dollar data center is connected to Involta’s Akron Data Center by a state-of-the-art fiber ring, providing a millisecond latency between the two concurrently maintainable sites.

Products and Services

As cybersecurity breaches continued to make headlines in the news and attempted attacks were less publicized, companies have looked to Involta to help them evaluate their current level of vulnerability as well as protect them from attacks. The Involta Security Suite has expanded on its Periodic Vulnerability Scan and Penetration Testing by offering non-intrusive security assessments that deliver security exposures both on the company network as well as in business operations. Clients with mission-critical, external-facing applications and portals can now look to Involta to provide always-on or on-demand DDoS protection to their websites, infrastructure and named servers. Involta became a Microsoft CSP Tier-1 Provider in 2017 and added Microsoft Office 365 services to assist clients in modernizing their office workspaces and increasing productivity and collaboration. Involta also wanted to provide its vast network of customers collocated in one or more of our enterprise-class data centers with dedicated multi-cloud connectivity to top public cloud service providers. Late this year, it launched Hyperscale Connect to provide clients’ reliable, secure connectivity to the Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform and more.

Partners

Involta partners with many top-tier technology vendors to provide leading-edge solutions to its customers. In 2017, we expanded our partner program so that we could develop more products and solutions. Some of our big partners include Cisco, VMware, Veeam, EMC and AT&T. We plan to continue down this path of development and bring to market even more technology solutions in 2018. Our goal is to truly be an end-to-end IT company that can provide our clients with holistic solutions for the long term.

Looking Forward to 2018

Involta’s Sales Kick-off took place in early January to align the sales team with its overall goals and objectives for 2018 and to learn how to better serve our new and existing clients. While we have a process for working with clients, we know that each client has unique circumstances and needs. Involta has the depth of talent and expertise to meet those needs. We plan every detail of implementation and execution. In 2018, Involta will be focused on bringing more products and services to the market, improving customer service and sharing the thought-leadership of our internal technical experts.

Product and Services

The end-of-year aqcuisition of Kadium has positioned Involta to expand its CompliantCloud℠ services in 2018. The company will also be focusing on adapting to meet clients' needs and to better scale services. Our top three areas of focus for 2018 are: 

  1. Build out a scalable multi-tenant Managed Services platform
  2. Launch new Managed Public cloud, DevOps, and automation products
  3. Increase our security capabilities across all venues

These investments enable Involta to deliver high value to our customers while providing us with the ability to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.

Involta will continue to grow and strengthen its partner and vendor relationships through our channel partner program as we move into 2018.  During our Involta Sales Kick-off we had the honor of hosting three of our trusted partners and showcasing their talents and product offerings for Involta and its clients.
