Manager of Carrier Services | Any Location, U.S.

The Carrier Services Manager is responsible for managing the overall availability of Involta’s network.  This includes the design and support of Involta’s MPLS and WAN connectivity, as well as L1 transport services and circuit management.  In addition, the Carrier Services Manager will manage train and mentor other members of the team to help develop talent. 

Network Administrator | Youngstown, OH

The Network Administrator is responsible for Network Infrastructure, Security and VPN configuration for client networks.  Further responsibilities include, design and implementation of projects, monitoring LAN/WAN network devices and helping ensure an optimized and stable network infrastructure. 

Specifically the Administrator role is responsible for trouble ticket escalation, implementing solutions per a design document, and occasional design work.  Administrators own specific technology implementations and will escalate to more senior members of a team as needed.

Service Desk Technician | Boise, ID

Involta is seeking to add a full-time Service Desk Technician to its team in Boise, Idaho.  The Service Desk Technician is primarily responsible for fielding support requests that are received at Involta and ensuring courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues.  This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain service level agreement expectations.  Problem resolution will involve the use of diagnostic and support request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give remote support at the desktop level.  This position requires a keen eye for attention to detail and the ability to be resourceful in the changing landscape of Information Technology.  In addition, the successful candidate will be results driven, and committed to building and maintaining client relationships.

Storage & Backup Specialist | Boise, ID

Involta is looking to add a full-time Storage and Backup Specialist to its growing team.  The Storage and Backup Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the customer infrastructure.  Specialists provide investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system hardware and software components related to storage and backup solutions.  Additionally, Storage and Backup Specialists adhere to and enforce good practices and standards within the team.   This is an entry-level position with primary responsibilities including managing a ticket queue, escalating issues to appropriate team members and the creation and maintenance of documentation through the change process.

Involta is seeking to add a full-time Service Desk Technician to its team in Youngstown, Ohio. In addition to fulfilling the Level 1 and 2 roles, the Service Desk Technician 3 is primarily responsible for responding to client inquiries and escalations from Level 1 and 2 Technicians, and ensuring courteous, timely and effective resolution of client issues. This includes providing requests for technical assistance, offering possible solutions and coordinating support actions with other staff as needed.  The Service Desk Technician 3 also acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Level 1 and 2 Service Desk Technicians, and will occasionally be called upon to lead technical huddles and provide insight into issues at a higher level.  In addition, they are also responsible for establishing and building relationships with clients by demonstrating willingness to pursue improved courses of action, delivering products and services that best serve client needs and using client feedback as a basis for improving service. 

Data Center Manager | Duluth, MN

Involta is seeking a full-time Data Center Manager for our newest world-class data center in Duluth, Minnesota.  The Data Center Manager will be responsible for managing the daily work functions for a high security data center.  The manager will be accountable for ensuring the data center operations meet the functionality and reliability to meet customer Service Level Agreements and expectations.  The qualified candidate will work with all organizational levels and groups, as well as external vendors.

Director of ServiceNow Solutions | Any Location, U.S.

The Director of ServiceNow Solutions will be the InvoltaNow technical lead / technical project manager for all ServiceNow solutions and manage all of the InvoltaNow ServiceNow technical resources both internal and external.

Technical Account Manager | Muscatine, IA

Involta is looking to add a full-time Technical Account Manager to its team in Muscatine, IA.  A Technical Account Manager is responsible for Customer satisfaction, and technical infrastructure as it relates to Involta Managed Services Customers.   Further responsibilities include, managing diverse groups of people across multiple technical disciplines including systems, network and telephony, and being a the primary customer interface for support, project work and sales support. 


The Manager’s role is considered an escalation path for urgent customer and internal issues and will often require a Manager to handle difficult relationship impacting conversations. Ultimately a Technical Account Manager is responsible for the operational health of the Customer(s) relationship. 

Sales Engineer | Pittsburgh, PA

Involta is currently seeking a talented and energetic Sales Engineer to support the sales efforts for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania sales team.  The Sales Engineer will work as a member of the sales team to provide technical knowledge and support to the sales process, influence client solutions and position Involta services that meet or exceed client expectations. In this role you will work with the regional sales and operation teams to supplement their expertise in data center, cloud and managed services offerings, in order to gain technical acceptance from the client and drive sales revenue.  This position will be measured by its success in contributing to the sales objectives and business goals for the region.

Storage & Backup Administrator | Any Location, U.S.

Involta is looking to add an experienced full-time Storage & Backup Administrator to its team.  A Storage and Backup Administrator is responsible to deliver and support both customer and internal projects; performing project implementation through to support.  Additionally, Storage and Backup Administrators enforce good practices and standards within the team.  Administrators provide investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure components related to storage and backup solutions.
