Senior PHP Developer

Addison, TX

Involta is seeking a professional Senior PHP Developer with strong technical leadership skills and a proven track record in PHP Application Development.  In addition to excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate must have strong OOP concepts, hands-­on coding experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, AJAX, XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery and other open-­source JavaScript and PHP Frameworks.

This position will be based out of our clients' office in Addison, Texas, so the candidate must be comfortable being a part of our client's strategic technology team.  Hours for this position are 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Only applicants who are authorized to work in the US, without company sponsorship, on a full-time, permanent basis will be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to prioritize work for team members and keep tasks on track for final delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with Senior Leadership and align new platform features with getting bug fixes and minor enhancements completed in an organized fashion
  • Strong command on MVC design pattern and PHP Frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend )
  • Strong command over JavaScript Frameworks like ExtJS
  • Strong command over JavaScript Libraries like jQuery, mooTools, underscore, backbone
  • Knowledge of working with tableless XHTML layouts
  • Must be a good database engineer, who is also able to develop complex SQL statements and scalable database schema designs
  • Deep working knowledge of web applications like CMS, ecommerce and Blog
  • Deep understanding of site development, application layouts and portals
  • Strong working knowledge of parsing XML and JSON documents
  • Should have knowledge and experience of Agile Development with experience in CI/CD principles and ability to manage workflows across GIT, Ansible, Artifactory
