Leading Cloud and Data Center Company Brings Holiday Cheer to Children Across the Country

Involta, an industry-leading hybrid IT, cloud computing and data center services company, announces today the successful completion of its eighth annual holiday fundraising campaign through its Involta Cares initiative. This year the company selected the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a non-profit created at the behest of the U.S. Marine Corps that has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.

“Our initial goal was to raise $2,500 to help purchase toys for children in the U.S. markets we serve,” comments Bruce Lehrman, CEO, Involta. “We more than doubled that goal with the total amount raised, reaching more than $6,000. During a year where many families are facing financial challenges, every dollar raised helps spread cheer. We are very pleased with the outcome.”

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the local community. The intent of Involta Cares is to support activities that enhance and serve those communities in which Involta employees live and work and the issues that impact their quality of life. Allowing team members to share in this effort helps enrich their lives as well.

Involta’s mission statement “Driving Transformation through innovative planning, execution, and management of Hybrid IT Strategies” is lived out every day through employees and the services provided. According to Mr. Lehrman, “Expanding that mission to the communities we live and work in is as important to Involta as using it to drive the work we do.” Mr. Lehrman matched the highest single monetary donation.

Other Involta Cares initiatives include Operation Linking Loved Ones, which powers connections between family members and their relatives in long term care facilities.
