Cedar Rapids, IA: Involta, LLC (Involta) a leading provider of colocation, managed, and cloud IT services is pleased to announce its most recent acquisition of Kadium, LLC (Kadium). Kadium is a technology services provider with expertise in software engineering and automation (DevOps). Kadium is a client oriented solution provider that enables secure application deployments to colocation, private cloud and public cloud.
The addition of Kadium is part of a larger-scale emphasis Involta has on bringing new technology products and solutions to market that assist clients with their cloud strategies. It is also directly in line with the aggressive product development roadmap Involta has for 2018 and beyond.
“The acquisition of Kadium strengthens our ability to serve clients across numerous platforms beyond our facilities to include the client’s premises and major public cloud providers,” said Involta CEO Bruce Lehrman. “The acquisition will allow us to immediately add new managed services and public cloud offerings that better assist our clients with the challenges they commonly face.”
Like Involta, Kadium uses a consultative approach with its clients to solve challenging IT problems giving them high customer satisfaction ratings. Clients of both companies will benefit from the merged product capabilities and option to securely deploy and operate applications in any environment.
“The combination of Involta and Kadium will allow us to optimize quality and cost of IT for our clients, solve difficult problems and be a more valuable long-term partner to them in their IT strategy,” said David Kramer, CEO and founder of Kadium. “We look forward to helping Involta diversify its suite of services while working together to build stronger partnerships with new and existing clients.”
Involta has been named to Cloudscene’s Fast 50 Growth Companies for 2017. In 2017, Involta built two world-class data centers from the ground up. Involta Independence, serving greater Cleveland, and Involta Northpointe, serving greater Pittsburgh, are both multi-tenant, concurrently maintainable facilities that house mission-critical computer systems and provide managed services for Involta clients. The company is slated to roll out over a dozen new services next year including new data protection, public cloud and security and compliance offerings.
