Involta Announces New Executive Leadership Chief Information Security Officer

Ilg,-Anna_1Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Involta, LLC, an industry-leading hybrid IT, cloud computing and data center services company, is pleased to announce the addition of a newly hired Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Annalea Ilg will serve as Involta’s CISO and be responsible for all security and compliance initiatives for Involta. Ilg will also spearhead the development of Involta’s security related services and products, as well as the administration of compliance and assurance activities.

Ilg comes to Involta with more than 15 years of information security and compliance background. Previously, Ilg was employed with Flexential as the CISO and former VP of Quality, Security & Compliance providing leadership and management of security and compliance for the organization and its clients. Ilg was responsible for the continuous improvement of the company’s overall cybersecurity direction within product offerings and business processes with changing technology, compliance and security needs. Prior to Flexential, Ilg was the Director of Compliance and Security for CoSentry/Tierpoint where she managed compliance issues and regulated cloud environments.

As part of the Involta team, Ilg will drive enterprise security, risk policy, crisis management, privacy and strategic security resilience. Involta continues to expand its security solutions portfolio empowering clients with advanced security toolsets and the support needed to be as proactive as possible. Involta’s security division will continue to take a hard look at the failures in security systems, develop tighter integration in automation and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of security toolsets and provide a successful security solution-set that ranges from consultation to accelerating defenses. Ilg will be starting her Involta Security Roadshow in September, traveling across the country to present Involta’s security services and offerings as well as discussing current security trends.
