Duluth, MN – Involta, LLC, an industry-leading hybrid IT, cloud computing and data center services company, hosted Involta Cares Day in Duluth on October 2, 2018. The event focused on promoting healthy habits for business and personal IT security, financial well-being and overall health. The event featured expert speakers on the various topics and provided local organizations the opportunity to come together, educate and network.
“It’s great to see so many community members interested in the ways they can secure their cyber footprint,” said Involta’s CISO Anna Ilg, who spoke at the event about healthy habits in cybersecurity. “A lot of people don’t understand the role technology plays in personal well-being, and it was rewarding to share my insights with the community.”
Ilg was one of three speakers at the Involta Cares event in Duluth, and her topic of expertise, cybersecurity, covered considerations such as security software, passwords and hacking. Other speakers touched on healthy financial habits, tracking spending, mental health, and intellectual wellness.
The informative event also gave attendees the opportunity to tour Involta’s Duluth Tech Drive Data Center.
“Technology plays a vital role our personal and professional lives. It’s so important to be aware of our technology use, and to make sure we’re thinking about security every step of the way,” explained Bruce Lehrman, Involta CEO. “Involta operates with a security-first mentality in our data centers as well as our products and services, and we are committed to sharing our knowledge with our clients and our community.”
Attendees left the event with a newfound knowledge of healthy habits in technology, business and life, as well as an Involta Cares package to help adopt a more holistic approach to well-being.
