Involta Hosts VIP Business and Community Leaders at Boise Expansion Open House

08/15/2018

Involta celebrated the expansion of its Boise data center with a VIP event on August 13, 2018. The open house celebration drew more than 50 business and community leaders with several prominent speakers, including Lieutenant Governor Brad Little, Vice President of the Idaho Technology Council Heidi Jarvis-Grimes, and Involta CEO Bruce Lehrman. A short program was followed by lunch and tours of the Victory View Data Center.

“The Boise area is experiencing incredible growth and Involta continues to expand our offerings not only with our foundational data centers but also with our hybrid IT solutions,” said Involta CEO Bruce Lehrman. “This was a great event to celebrate our success and we continue to look forward to future opportunities in the Boise market.”

The Victory View Data Center became Involta's sixth data center when it first opened in December 2014. As Boise and Idaho continued to grow, the technology and IT needs of many companies and businesses expanded as well. Involta has always kept pace with these growing needs and the expansion of its Boise data center showcases that.

Involta is proud to be a part of the Boise community. Boise was recently named the fastest growing city in the U.S. and its great mix of urban and rural atmospheres make it a desirable place to live, work and play. It was also ranked #23 on the 2018 Best Places to Live by U.S. News & World Report, partly due to an unemployment rate of only 3% and an average work commute of about 20 minutes. As Idaho continues to transition into a big business hub, Involta will be here to help organizations deploy technology assets necessary to their success.

The Boise data center expansion is just one of the many recent growth spurts Involta has experienced. Over the last three years, the company has added an additional three data center locations across the country and new product offerings including Involta Hybrid Cloud and InvoltaOne.
