Involta is honored to announce that Chief Operations Officer, Ken Kremer, has been named the 2018 COO of the Year by Corridor Business Journal. Kremer has been with Involta since 2001 and has worked in the technology industry for 30 years. He has been instrumental in growing Involta from a small data center company to a national IT consulting firm and hybrid IT services provider. During Kremer’s tenure as COO, Involta built five brand new data centers and went through five acquisitions. He is currently part of Involta’s Office of the President and sits on the Involta Healthcare Advisory Board.

In 2017, Kremer led Involta through the opening of two new data centers, an organizations restructuring to focus on better customer service, the acquisition of Kadium, and BluPraire an IT consulting firm. He also designed the expansion of Involta’s connectivity among data centers and fiber footprint, including a fiber ring that provides a millisecond latency between Involta’s Independence and Akron Ohio data centers.

Under Kremer’s leadership, Involta has expanded into eight new cities in six different states and the Involta data centers have earned several awards and certifications including Tier III certifications from the Uptime Institute, Leed Certifications from the U.S. Green Building Council, and ITIL. Two of the five data centers have already added on large expansions.

Kremer continues to be an example of team leadership and superior management at Involta. The entire Involta team is so proud to call him ours.
