What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I listen to music and drink caffeine.
Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?
Brandon Yansky. He always sets an amazing example for his sales people.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
Athletics. They’ve taught me about competition, teamwork, and striving for individual success. I’ve also learned how to handle great wins, horrible losses, and everything in-between. Without sports, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
What’s the one thing that has surprised you about working at Involta?
How many people didn’t start or see themselves in this industry or line of work. People come from various different backgrounds and it’s really interesting to hear their stories.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about your position?
Many people believe that I’m in Marketing. I drive sales through cold prospecting and setting meetings with Account Executives.
What’s your favorite piece of technology? Why?
I can’t decide between cell phones or air fryers. Obviously, having so much power and accessibility in your pocket is ridiculously convenient and many would agree a cell phone is their favorite tech item. Air fryers though, come on! You can use them for anything. If you don’t want to use the oven… boom air fryer. If the microwave makes it soggy… boom air fryer.
What is one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Working out with a cleaner and healthier diet. I’ve been following a workout program for the past 12 weeks and have tried to increase whole foods into my diet.
What’s the best advice you were given? From who?
“Work hard so you can play hard.” – Grandma Kopp. It’s cause and effect. If you put in the time and effort you’ll be rewarded and be able to enjoy yourself more than you would if you didn’t put forth as much effort. It’s like sports, you have to practice hard everyday, so the games are easy and fun!
