03/01/2021

In today’s world, technology is ever evolving and as a company, we are too. Furthermore, when it comes to our team, we stand strong by our brand promise to DRIVE results for our customers. That’s why we’re excited to feature the Involta Spotlight.

Each month we feature one Involta team member from a personal and professional standpoint. Our illuminating interviews will capture the essence of what drives our team to deliver both at home and on the job. Our clients will get an inside look into who we are and learn more about our exceptional team members who are here to help our clients through their IT transformation journey. It’s our goal to help our clients “Get There” through trusting, communicative and collaborative relationships.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

My productivity trick is to come into the office early. Coming in early allows me to get a lot of work done without any distractions. I also feel most refreshed in the mornings and it’s easier to focus.

Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?

My previous boss, Jeff Quint, influenced me the most. On my first day at CoVault Technology in 2007, he sent me an email subject titled “List of sh*t to do” and it included a section for “sh*t to do right away” and “sh*t to do soon.” Aside from making me laugh, Jeff challenged me with that list of sh*t to do and it’s always stuck with me, both figuratively and literally. I still have it in my inbox. No matter how many challenges are thrown my way today, I know I can get my sh*t done.

What’s your favorite piece of technology? Why?

I don’t have a favorite piece of technology. I like using my manual calendar and small scraps of paper. Writing things down by hand acts as an extra reminder for what I have coming up and what I need to complete.

What is your favorite hobby?

I really enjoy exercising during my lunch break. It is a great way to clear my head and reset before I finish up my afternoon.

What is one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?

I’m trying to drink more water. This is something I’ve been trying to make a habit of for years, but I haven’t been able to stick to it. This year, I made it one of my New Year’s resolutions, so I’m going to try my best to keep it up.

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?

My favorite way to unwind after a busy day is to simply go home to my dogs. When I walk through the door, I’m greeted by a handful of dogs. It’s the perfect way to end a long workday. Seeing Sierra, Stella, and Holly get excited always makes me smile.
