Pittsburgh Area Data Center Construction Update
The 40,000 square foot Involta Pittsburgh (Northpointe) facility construction is well underway. When completed it will include conditioned data center space, additional storage space, mechanical and electrical infrastructure and additional office space for clients and business continuity use. The data center will be concurrently maintainable with redundant capacity (power, cooling and connectivity) components and multiple independent distribution paths serving the computer equipment. The facility will also feature biometric security and 24/7/365 monitoring and access. Involta clients will have access to the entire suite of technical services the company offers.

Inside Involta: Executive Interview
Meet CFO Jim Buie
Involta recently added to its management team with the hiring of a new CFO, Jim Buie.
“Most people are surprised to hear I’ve led sales, marketing, and operational groups in my career. I am a life-long learner and have taken something from each of my career experiences that make me a better, well rounded business leader. I enjoy the numbers but definitely have been characterized as an atypical finance leader in that I also enjoy the social and deal-making aspects of business.”
